Yes there will be a broadcast this week but other than that it will be switched off.
The problem is that we're a victim of our own success and we now have that many people using LeighLife (and the radio facility) that the server fees have shot through the roof and it all needs to be paid for.
Leighlife has always been entirely funded by the owner until about a year ago when we started up a bonus ball competition which was used to cover the server fees, however, over the last few months more and more people have been dropping out to the point where it's hardly worth running it, so once again it's back to the owner of the site to pay for the privilege of giving up all his spare time to run and maintain the site.
We've been asking people to join in (a pound a week with the chance of winning it back) but apart from a few (thank you Linda), the others seem quite happy to sit back and let others pay for their enjoyment, so quite frankly the owner has had enough and said that unless a few more people join in, LeighLife will be switched off at the weekend.
