| Great to get a comprehensive win tonight and one that would have been a nilling had it not been for McNally's lapse in concentration, but to me we were pretty disjointed in the second half. Had we kept up the momentum from the first half then we might have had 50+ which would have been a huge confidence boost.
Reckon tonight must have been our season-high for line breaks which is pretty encouraging.
Glad to see Riddy a little closer to the form he's capable of and Pownall was a well deserved MOM.

| Bang on, we seemed to have dropped off to sleep for a large part of the second half. Comments about Sheffield were being bandied around near us, thankfully it didn't come to that.
Leahy also seemed to have a game of two halves, and can someone explain the offside rule to both him and Yorks #4 please?

| Good first half but if they carry on playing the game of two halves we will have to get the boys to play towards us in the first half so we can see the action close up

| Good summing up Matt but quite frankly second half was boring and most round me were talking about everything other than what was on display.
Defence was a lot better though 'which is a plus' but we will have to improve our play a lot against decent opposition.
Maybe having Brierley on a lot earlier in the second half would at least have made it more exciting.

Just that rule to him? What about two-man ripping? The 40-20?

| I think we are not giving York due credit for playing a far better game in the second half. They upped their defence and attacking options. As for boring - well if all you want to se is Leigh scoring a panful of points in each half every week - well that WOULD be boring. I want to see us go as many matches as possible without losing, but I would hope the opposition would give us a game to stretch uis a little, and to see how good (or, worse, bad) we really are.
Good to see Toronto at the game. Hope your team in Canada goes from strength to strength and that you have a pleasant stay whilst you are over here.

| Does anyone (apart from Clitheroe) know anything about Rugby on here? for a team littered with young players like us last night to keep up the intensity of the first half would be nigh impossible our engine room of the second row was the youngest pair I think ive ever seen at Leigh in 25 years, York were always going to come at us in the second half, and no matter what anyone thinks they have put together a fair old team.
You just cant please the un-pleasable it would seem I read on here during the winter that to see us beating teams by 50 odd points a game would be boring now because we aren't we are boring, just what the BH do you want, get a grip and do what supporters are supposed to do and sodding SUPPORT the team instead of trying to analyse because you are crap at it.

| I enjoyed the game, much better proformance than the last three, by the time we play Fax away, hopefully we will be back to our best.
WE seemed to offload the ball more, like we was doing in the friendlies
I picked out Johhny Pownall as MOTM and I was right, he was brilliant, we still have Deano, Goulden to come back too.
Only worry I have is the tackling seems to be a bit off atm at times.

| first half wasbest we've played since friendlies, second well what can say, did ok, but imo it was always going to be a bit scrappy, and york did improve, which wasn't hard. highlight for me was pownalls performance, he had a cracker for me, and our new dual from wire did well for his first outing. how sharp does brierly look when he enters the field, and like has been said riddy looked better than he has for a while, all in all it was a win and thats what we all wanted, mind and i am sure the lads know this, when we play the big teams that performance will not be good enough to win, so improvements a plenty to make, but i am sure rowley doesnt need me to tell him that.

| Thought second half York improved their game assisted by the ref we did go off the boil a bit but to stop them from scoring ,apart from the "gift" well done defence

| Good win last night. Much more solid from the off. Good defence in comparison to recent weeks. We tackled well enough for it to mean we only had to score 7 points to win, but didn't we get 7 tries? Good stuff. Yes. Room for improvement, but a much better performance in all aspects of the game. Well done Jonny Pownall, in attack and defence. Also thought Laithwaite slotted in well. Good TEAM effort. Onwards and upwards!

Jimmy lets get real , York are the worst side in this Division , we did OK in the first half , but in the second half nothing , it was boring , a wins a win and thats it 3 pts , not many plusses to the game iknow we are short in numbers squad wise , but we have a couple of very ordinary players .
I clocked Ryan Brierley warming up for a while lets see more of him on the pitch .

I don't do the analysis stuff, I never have. If I find it boring however I don't have a problem saying so. Second half last night? I found it boring.
