Well I suppose the ones left out will be those carrying the worst niggling injuries and Paul will I think select on that basis.

I do like the idea of Brierley starting in the halves next Sunday though.On the bright side Pownall should be available soon.

play the fittest best team available Gateshead gave York a shock on Sunday and we are not playing to the mark as yet

York had played 3 games in 8 days and included 9 players who are not regular first teamers although I agree this is a must win game for us.

Play the strongest team available , lets try and win as many as possible and underestimate no one.

I think the speccies are being sarcy, very happy rowley has been given a 2nd bite of the cherry

Apart from Sheffield what has been wrong with our form. I thought Sheffield played very well in the second half. This team is still geling and will get better as long as John Duffy can stay fit. It was John that made that try for Michael on sunday. Michael ran a great line and it was try time. Martyn Ridyard is just a bit down hearted at the moment and it shows on his game, but will bounce back. When Ricky comes back and we have the comfort of bringing Ryan on in the halves then we will rip teams apart. One thing that stood out for me in the highlights was Tommy Gallaghers speed. Did you see how much ground he covered. Very impressive. We won't do bad this year and if we win something then it will be a bonus.

Considering we were doomed 5 months ago, its a massive step.
