well done to that Steward in front of the North stand for completely ignoring the bottles thrown on to the pitch from the North stand, He just turned his back on them and then had to be replaced by someone different ,it's a good job they weren't glass and only plastic,this incident could have had serious repercussions for us. if they can't do the job get shut

Well when leaving the North Stand last I was astonished at the number of plastic Carling lager bottles that had been discarded. Why anyone would pay the exhorbitant price charged for them amazes me. Mind you I don't like lager anyways.

Have you lodged your complaint with the lsv or are you just having another go at the stewards?

I shall be registering a complaint first thing on monday morning ,dont you worry about that. and may I ask are the Stewards untouchable it seems from your post that you agree with bottles being thrown. by the actions of two stupid idiots who probably wont be there again, every one else in the North stand will be targeted.

To be honest what can the fella do with people like that. They should be identified by the camera and banned. If it the same bunch that were outside the north stand when me and our Ol was passing they were up for fighting and on their way round to the south. One idiot was effing and blinding and c-ing and b-ing infront of kids and women. We don't need these tools. The problem I have with these bottles is that the price is the same but they are just over 3/4s of a pint. They were cheaper at the Fax game but not last night. I'll just have to wait now for a proper pint at half time in our very own west stand bar.

stewards are paid to do a job, if they see behaviour that is wrong they should either do something themselves, or report it to their superirors. also whats all this green team leader and yellow team leader, sort it out please

Could hear summat going on outside the North Stand after the game when we were still taking the flags down, think/hope it's the type who only turn up because it's against Wigan.

I didn't see the bottle being thrown but we were speaking to a North Stand steward after the game and they said they were identified and it will be passed on to the club/LSV. I think people need to realise that booting someone out if part of a big group etc may cause more problems than it solves (case in point was at the Bolton-Macclesfield game recently where one lad in the away end took exception to being ejected and his mates decided that was the cue to jump in to 'defend' him, and then you're left with a sizeable incident to try and safely deal with).

To my mind these things should be 'self-policed' as a matter of course. Someone in the North Stand will know who these tools were - name and shame 'em, and make sure they are banned for life!!

It's not very often I say this but I agree with Peawapp, disgraceful behaviour, the individual who threw the second bottle (didn't see who threw the first one) was on his own, stood right at the front of the north on the walk way and simply tossed it onto the field and the stewards should have jumped onto him immediately, he was not at that point part of a group. I don't know where he went on to stand.

And before anyone says anything if I knew who he was I'd have reported him, I have in the past and will do again, our club does not need these idiots.

And the price of the beer or size of bottle is totally irrelevent.
