Andy Bracek.........What a great addition to the squad.....another local lad - Ex Miners......I remember him coming training with us at the open age there with his older brother when he was about 12 yrs old and he played 6 then........2nd rower/prop these days but I suppose thats par for the course when yr mum and dad owned green lane chippy for all those yrs....

I was somewhat surprised that we were linked with Andy, given that he has played most of his rugby, 'at the top'. It would be doubly surprising, and something of a waste to see him in C1.

well i think this move if confirmed speaks volumes for this guys attitude if he would rather play in a lesser league for a few extra quid, then barrow are welcome to him. e only want players who want to play for leigh, and this from a hometown player.
