| Noticed last week that we warmed up at the empty side of the stadium,bi thought barrow got there first and claimed that half, we did the sane today,I'm sure it gives us a boost warming up in front of the fans,so why are we warming up where's there no buzz ??

| Thought we warmed up there last week to keep in the shade as it was a hot day?

| They tend to warm up in the shaded areas whilst it's warm.

| They could save energy and warm up in the sun without having to run around.

Probably not worth getting your coat on the way out while the sun's out.

| It's a coin toss to decide that we've thankfully been winning more often than not this season. Much prefer us to attack towards the North Stand in the second half.

| Who remembers the defeat we suffered to Bobby Gouldings Rochdale in 2004 ?
It was a really hot day and Goulding came out and cut short their warm up , we stayed out and did a full set
I truly believe that was the reason we lost that day , we looked exhausted right from the start , whereas Dale came out all guns blazing and blew us away , Bobby commented on it in his after match radio interview

Well he would as it would make HIM look good, but may be true.
I also remember watching Leigh at Saints in the Mal Meninga era in the Lancs cup when they warmed up before in a rather serious fashion. We, in our naivety, chuckled that Saints would be exhausted before they'd even started. Needless to say they blew us away.

| Back to the pre match warm up - did anyone else notice Karl Harrison watching us - he spent 10 - 15 mins on the touch line just watching our lads. Hardly took notice of his own side.
Was he looking for ideas?

| They are warming up at that end because it is more shaded then the North End - I asked.

If Stu wins the toss we always attack the South stand first half, no matter what the wind/sun conditions are like. I find that a bit strange, I've always had Millward down as one who'd take these sort of things in to serious consideration to gain an early advantage but apparently not.
