Come and see if Riddy and co are as good at quizes as they are at Rugby.

I reckon they will do ok in the early stages of the quiz and then will come storming back from behind in the 2nd half for a convincing win

There was a real 'feel good factor' after the game on Sunday and according to John Duffy the lads are 'buzzin' and well up for Friday! We could do with as many as possible down there to support the lads, have a good laugh and raise some cash for the club.

there will be audience participatation as well, for how the night is going to go i.e. the format see my post in the 'sticky' above

Trouble is, it's not much fun watching other people answering questions - take Question of Sport for example!!!

Now if it had been an open quiz for people to bring their own teams, I'm sure it would have been well supported. That's not to say that this won't be - but it doesn't really float my boat.

the offer was there for teams to enter so why didn't you? it's always been 'advertised' as a team event
it can be quite easily be made into an open quiz but I have structured it for a team event, it's up to Linda as organiser if she wants it so

Apologies, I appear to have misinterpreted the previous threads then. The way it initally read to me was that it was between a LISA team, a Centurions team and a Leigh East team (and possibly a Miners team?) I did not see an invitation for all comers to apply. Maybe next time as I quite enjoy a quiz night!!
