Ian is spot on.

Start competing for the trophies and carrying on building our club up (and lets not beat about the bush - we are in a very good position, great stadia, growing support and a decent squad) and we'll get where we need to be eventually.

We are probably the most successful club to spend so much time out of SL (and before that Division 1), what we've lacked since 2005/ 2006 is a Trophy.
I don't expect us to get one for a few years but I'm pretty sure it'll be a enjoyable ride trying to get one.

Our club is building up again, definatly some exciting times ahead with a positive clear focus on continuous, constant , achievable improvement.

Can't wait for the 27th Dec when the preperations for the season begins

I've got a good feeling about this season. We have got a stupidly tough start to the league season but we tend to start well and I feel we have more depth in key area's this year so we should cope better.

My predictions:

League - 3rd
NRC - Win
Play Offs - Make the Final

Time we as fans to get behind the lads in numbers .

Our numbers arn't too bad considering we didn't have a large support to fall back after a few more years in SL and a some success in recent memory in the old style Division 1 (with all the additional exposure that brought).

We need to build on them (like all clubs) but they're going in the right direction

The squad is certainly stronger in the right areas and has much more depth. Looks forward to a successful campaign.

Completely agree with everything Basil says in that article. Not been this excited about a season starting for a long while, the feelgood factor is coming back and the atmosphere at the LSV has arguably improved with each and every game we've played there, so let's make it a fortress this year.

A long overdue statement by the club in my opinion , it is time to focus on things we do have some control over instead of things we dont , the constant refferance to SL is a burden we dont need , it has weighed us down in my opinion

We need

1 to play an exciting brand of attacking RL

2 to communicate with our existing fan base better

3 to concentrate more on turnstile fans and less on corporate

4 to make better use of the work done by the community dept

5 to reinvent themselves with the people of the town

6 to be the best Championship club
