Fev v Barrow would have been good but Barrow play Widnes on the Wednesday so thats out. The Widnes game away to Keighley will also be out for the same reason. That leaves

Off course they could pick a Ch1 game that week, but ours could be the game that decides which of us have home advantage in the playoffs

No DJ. Blackpool play Hunslet on the 15th, the week before. Hunslet I suspect will clinch promotion at that game. Not sure if there will be any games of note in the final week for Championship 1. I'm still going for our game, as I think travel issues for Fax and the fact that SKY are unlikely to want the cost of televising a game from Toulouse

Cats play atLeeds Friday August 20. I think the Thursday game will be broadcast from Sheffield.

If this is the case then that is just bloody marvellous, NOT, had planned a train trip to sheffield for the sunday and to have a few scoops prior to game, fingers crossed its not on, sheffield are on the week before 12th aug away at widnes, here's hoping.

If Sky want either of these games on Thursday, they'll be on Thursday. I don't know why people think there's an issue here.

I suppose the issue is the traditional thankyou from the supporters at your teams last league game of the season be it home or away. Making Sheffield on a Thursday night after work will be a no no for many.

Probably only need a mini bus as we'd have to go at 5 to get there I suspect.
