| I've always liked it at Fax even when we've been battered the past couple of seasons and without the stand/half build stand but I must say it's very impressive is the new stand. Does anyone know if the lager in the South Stand bar has always been £3 a pint? The cheeseburgers are the best in the league. Just edging Dewsbury.

| Lager has gone up because of EMC taking over the bars.

| The flat area of the new stand where the band played, what is it designed for? Is it the dissabled area?

I originally thought it was the disabled area, but certainly no sign of it yesterday. Maybe they were inspired by the decking at Blagnac?

| It looked like the/a disabled area, the disabled people went up on top near the boxes yesterday, like they do at Leigh in the main stand.

| It will be the regular disabled area apparently, but must admit its the first time ive been on a TV gantry (which is also a shared disabled gantry like at Dewsbury) where they haven't put any electricity sockets, our Dave made a joke on the way up saying he bet because it was in Yorkshire they would only have one socket, he was wrong they had none, poor Steve the Fax video guy has to run a ruddy great extension lead every game and tape it all off, so no the facilities have not been thought out. (Yes I know complained about the electrics on the gantry at the lsv when it first opened but that was because they had put the WRONG sockets in - indoor instead of out door - not that they hadn't put ANY in, good view though especially yesterday )

| Fred I have a 1.8Kw inverter in my kit. A very handy piece of equipment for those type of situations. The only draw back is it needs a 400Ah battery to run it a full wack for any time and that is a blurry big battery. Plus side is when we have a power cut I can still keep the feezer going and I can watch the box. You can buy smaller versons that will run on a car battery.

Thought it was a purpose-built stage at first, and was well-impressed! Like all new facilities, including ours, the P/A system can be heard miles away, when music is played, but as soon as someone reads out the teams, nothing can be heard! (although a 'fax fan sat beside me said it was because of the guy's 'diction' )

I have a couple of the car battery inverters Tony but usually manage on batteries as I tend to use 'domestic' video cameras and batteries are powerfull and cheap, but thanks for the tip.
