I got a glimpse of the 'draft' Championship fixtures today in Halifax. No joke - I was at a lunch in Halifax and their Chief Executive had a copy of the draft fixtures. Leigh are scheduled to play in Toulouse on Good Friday -that's the worst possible time of the year, it will cost a fortune to travel to the South of France at Easter. Rumour has it though that Leigh have asked Toulouse to swap the fixture - Leigh to play at home v. Toulouse on Good Friday with Leigh going to France later in the season. It makes sense. Leigh had the biggest following to France last season and it wouldnt cost much for the air travel for any French fans wanting to come to Leigh over Easter - Good luck Leigh, hope your request to Toulouse is successful and that Leigh fans can go to Toulouse in big numbers without having to pay high air travel prices.

Seriously - Toulouse (Away) is in the draft fixtures for Good Friday. I went to France last season at a 'reasonable' price. Cant see me being able to afford it at Easter. The Widnes fixture ? Didnt get chance to digest the date. All will be revealed within a few days apparently.

Just done a quick check on BMI Baby and it's £116 return flying Wed 31st March, returning Sunday 4th April so in reality not [ithat[/i much more than usual. However, the big worry would be that some mates went to watch Wigan in Perpignan at Easter last year and the entire city was basically shut down for the whole weekend  |

I would say at this point in the closed season that the supposed top teams will be crapping themselves at what our club is on the verge of doing.
They are also both very close to the RFL.
