| With the season tickets and shirts now sorted has anything been said how much the pay on the day prices will be and also is the free child season ticket in operation again for next year

| Many thanks.
I'm presumbing the Primary school season ticket is for children from all areas (not just Leigh primary schools).
Also one final question (yes I know, sorry) do 4 year olds usually pay to get in at RL grounds as a rule (ie: they don't pay on the bus / train etc, is it the same at sporting arena's).

It's based on primary school age, rather than where they actually attend. Not sure what the situation is for under 5's as my lad had one of the free season tickets last season, though I'll happily pay a tenner a season for him.

| ive nothing against kids getting free tickets to the games as it generates rugby league in the towns, but i think it stinks how the club does this, but fails to recognise those who have been loyal fans and those who have worked for the club in the past and those who still do,waits for all the rants

I think you do enough of those of your own, to be quite honest. If we don't get people to support the club when they're a child, then what chance do we have? I know for a fact that I'm not the only one on here who got the 'bug' as a result of the £10 Junior Centurions season tickets in the 90's, and now spend thousands of pounds each and every year (it is thousands, by the way, as we worked out in the pub before the Whitehaven game!), something that wouldn't have happened had we not been drawn to the club by the cheap pricing in the first place.

People see these things differently.
I've now worked for the Club, for nine years, (not full time!) for nowt, and still buy my season tickets, because I want to contribute to the Club I've loved since being a kid - when I got hooked courtesy of free schoolboy tickets.
My view is that many 'loyal fans' feel the same way that I do, but I guess everyone is entitled to his/her opinion.

| Its a business (and not a very healthy one) not a charity, if we fans didn't support it either with money or time then how could it survive, or do people think the diirectors should provide it all for our entertainment?
Looking at it as a business this is far from the Leigh Rugby Club from 5 years ago the only thing that hasn't changed is the fans, there is no room for sentiment in business, thats a fact of life, we all have to live with it, if it bothers people so much then they have the choice (as a lot have) in voting on their feet and not attending, bleating at every opportunity about how the 'club' treats A B C or D is like breaking wind in a hurricane.
Or would people like free this and free that? fine but within 6 months there would be no Rugby club to watch, then again there would be no rugby club to complain about, wonder what some would do then? probably die of boredom

| I disagree, I did a bit to help the club and I now expect a padded seat, personal waitress at games, free beer and food, blazer and access to the changing rooms when I want a chat with players all for free.
The club dont value me otherwise, anyone would think its a business that needs income, instead of the charity it really is.

Theres no doubt you can't argue for a tenner for a season, good value.
Was just wondering if there is a lower age charge limit though put inplace for all clubs by the RFL
The local RU club around here has under 8's in for free (accompanied by parent) , I doubt RL clubs would have that but was wondering is it classed as "child prices" for 4 year olds or does it only apply from 5years old (similar to on public transport).

| Kids of primary school age get their season tickets for a tenner regardless of where they are schooled. Same with secondary school kids, only theirs are fifty quid
Pre-school kids still need a ticket to get in, but don't pay.

It's up to the individual clubs, largely down to safety certificates. Wigan (so presumably the same as us, being the same licensing authority) need to have a ticket for each entrant to the ground, albeit under 5's being free. At Saints, they don't do 'free' under 5's and officially charge the full junior rate, but in reality you just lift them over the turnstiles.
At Halifax, they let you push the pram through the gate and then forget to ask for any money for either of you
