Some instances of mis-selling include
• You were told you had to take out PPI in order to get the loan or product.
• You were pressured into buying PPI.

This does not sound good at all, i hope that MR CHAIRMAN as had words with his staff over this matter and i sincerely hope it is not going to effect the relationship between leigh and east. i personally am very disappointed if leigh as been used to up the ante.

I do not think a public forum like the club website is the right place for this sort of statement. Any issues should have been discussed between the relevant people and not turned into a public attack on individuals.
It can do nothing but fan the flames of the incident and I feel it is totally unprofessional to do so.
Foot in mouth time from Leigh RL again I'm afraid.........

It was never going to be a smooth road, bridges were always going to have to be built, some of which were bound to fall down.
Leigh are unlikely to ever be in a strong enough position to sign up every youngster.
The import thing is both sides keep working together and learn from it.

If no statement had been made, the club would have also been slated for not keeping fans informed. |

Totally stupid is this.
What has the club to gain by running this story?
Stuff happens in business and throwing a tizzy in public ain't gonna win you friends.
Sometimes you just have to smile, wish them luck and take a note not to be so gullible next time.
A quiet word explaining the club's point of view would be better.

Because everyone likes to have a go at our club. It is very easy to critisice and by god, we certainly have a go!
Boot is on the other foot now, Leigh have been very professional and Leigh East have been what they are ... amatuerish!
It is always being said on here that Leigh Centurions have to build bridges....IT IS NOT LEIGH CENTURIONS KNOCKING THE BL00DY THINGS DOWN!
It just goes to show what Leigh East are - yes they have to take some flak over this as an organisation - or fire the coach involved.
Obviously Leigh East are more concerned about getting the most money for their players. (IMO if they are good enough, the money will come eventually)
East are there for East - end of.
So have east acted in the best interests of their player? It was on here over last couple of weeks how this signing was 'nailed on' for us. "Come down to east and watch him" ....my ar$e. |
