No the club (and neither can any Champiobship club) cant afford it, and no there will be an unde3r 21's team for Championship clubs.

are the 15's and 16's scholarships going to be running with a view to playing games come and of amateure season next year? or will they just training squads without the playing of games?

The 15s and 16s have recruited enough to play games and i believe that is Leighs intention. six games each, 2 against yorkshire teams and 4 local.All to be finished before the lads sit there exams.

that is the set up for all clubs now, they will play scholarship games against each other as there is no more service area.
