After the fiasco of LSV running RL at Leigh this season, would LISA be allowed to run the 'white elephant' East Stand & maybe two turnstiles at the North End.

Thanks for the short answer! But do you know why the supporters association couldnt run an unused stand and help increase attendances?

so LISA run a stand, that stand would need security for a start so thats money gone for a start.
Who exactly would LISA put in the east stand? the west and north are hardly filled to capacity

I think the club are looking at this for next year, lots of suggestions have been made and obviously they need other parties to help them with this.

are you a LISA committee member?
if yes- what qualifies you to be able to actually "run" the stand?
if no- do you know if LISA even want to do such a thing?

Instead of saying all U11’s can apply for a free season ticket. I’d like to see the East stand open for free to all the kids playing for East/Miners/Golbourne/Westhoughton/Atherton and their opponents as guests when visiting Leigh. Their own registration card allows admission for them and a parent. Fill the stand with youngsters who already have an interest in the game.

Always great suggestions on this forum. Certainly all these need to be looked at even if they only raise a hand full of extra fans. Would be good for the atmosphere if the East Stand became in effect the RL Supporters Club House.
