On behalf of all our contributors (including Matt!!) thank you! I understand that 'Game On' will not be around, next season.
However, I don't yet know of the Club's plans for next season, either for producing a programme, or who will produce it. My role in it, came as a big surprise to me - I didn't remember actually agreeing to be co-editor! I have found it stimulating, but it doesn't half take up time!! Like the players, I am now sitting back, waiting for a Championship club to offer me a job as their programme editor, when they all have to start doing their own programmes again!
If we apply the same logic as this year - 'we must continue with a programme, whatever the RFL says, as it's part of the game experience' - then I'm sure there will be one. As with anything else though, there are cost implications. (in addition to my huge salary
) I have been asked how we could sell more, and my answer was, to get more people in the ground!
Anyway, I did ask, in the final programme, for new ideas from supporters. Dave Parkinson and I have a few, but yours are more than welcome.
