This is where the problem has been the last couple of seasons.
Sheffield at home we got going early doors and got in their faces and later on had to compete with spirit and determination to stay in the game. The fans responded accordingly even though there were less than 1500 present.
It just takes a Jimmy Taylor Tackle or the whole team keeping the opposition trapped in their 22, or even a break away by Stanton to lift the crowd. But in general we need it early so that the moaners and groaners dont start to outweigh the supporters.
What us supporters have to do against Toulouse is imagine this before the kick-off and get the lads to feed off the atmosphere we can create. Unfortunately there will be no opposing fans to create some banter so its all up to us.
If the French/Aussie/Kiwis are warming up in front of the North Stand then give them some jip and try to intimidate them.
This to me is THE key match more than Gateshead and it would be great going into that match with a win under our belts. This could gather momentum and who knows what may happen on Bank Holiday Monday.
