i went up tyldesley a few times with timmy and muzza boozing we never paid to get into a night club,funny as i was always like a little jack russel in between them so didnt have to pay get in mad as an atter timmy. icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif

Not a funny story but I saw timmy in a pub having a meal with his family last sunday after i had done the manc-blackpool bike ride. Had a chat and he seemed like a top bloke. Living legend I say.

after a few beers on a saturday afternoon myself and a few mates spotted a sit on lawn mower in the back of someones garden so decided after checking there was no one in that it would be a good idea to jump over the fence and have a go only to our surprise that it was a member of tim streets family(father or father in law cant remember)and he was keeping an eye on the house whilst they was away and pulled up on the front while we were riding round on the lawn mower so over the back fence it was with timmy shifting really well until he caught one of the slower lads(yes that was me) who had to go and clean the full garden before he was allowed to go home.

When Streety & Tony Cotterell both played for Leigh, saw Tony in Fletchers Nitespot. I just mentioned to him that I like it when "someone does a big hit on Tim, he just plays the ball, then 'laughs/smiles' at them. Tony replied "he wouldn't F***in' laugh at me" Fair enough !!!

one word to desribe tim, LEGEND that guy carried our team in so many matches, watched us since 1978, seen some greats like woody, dessie, but tim street well he's my hero no question.
