Thats what i feel Paul Rowley should be telling the lads they have left to play,cmon lads ,dont be rememberd for getting us relagated,be known as heroes for keeping us up.Basil must not be given an impossible task ,next season, give him a chance lads ,i feel most of you wont be here next season ,but go out in a BLAZE OF GLORY not damp squibs.
Lets play with some PRIDE AND PASSION in them LEIGH SHIRTS ,i think if you give the fans SOMETHING to shout about ,they will back you ,just remember the games against Widnes ,HOW GOOD IT FELT ,AT THE END ,taking the applause ,cmon lads dont let us down ,this season hasnt been good for the fans ,make it up to us by giving us a DECENT AND MEMORABLE ENDING by staying in this Division.

They won't though in fairness, Millward has stated he's looking at the current team to see who's worth keeping hold off so they are all playing for a contract under Millward but none of them seem to be rising the the challenge.

Basil wont have to think long and hard about the dead wood, thats a good 50% of the team

All that is being asked of the team is to play with passion and pride and look like you actually give a damn, and if some cannot be bothered rising to the challenge of keeping us up (and playing for a place next year) then why are they here?....

I think that has been part of the problem this season, a lack of skill and a lack of passion

Good point we've taken 3 points off Gateshead this season already and given Leigh 6 - imagine the points turn around and league positions if the results would have gone the other way.

Anyways, I always enjoy the atmosphere and anticipation of the games against Leigh (if not the actual games themselves - as we always seem to lose), the league just wouldn't be the same without them.
