At the risk of sounding pedantic, Oldham are 2nd and Fev are 4th.
Seriously though, may the best team win.

| I enjoyed the game shame Oldham couldnt have won.
Anyone else think Two Bobs could have done a job for us this season.

He had a decent game did Two Bobs, but he had a couple of spells on the sidelines and I'm not sure if his fitness would cope with the intensity of our league this year. Think Oldham's back line is at least comparable to ours though, if not better.

Can't disagree there at all - TB's got a decent squad together at Oldham including a fair few ex-leythers that can still produce. 2-bobs played well in spells, Goulden is a grafter (not strictly an ex-leyther I know but one that got away) Halliwell on his day is more than capable, and Greenwood is a quality winger for any side that are capable of getting the ball out to him (but too much of a luxury for us).
Of the others Phil Joseph can be very influential & was on my wish-list for signings a couple of years ago, and IMHO Paul Reilly is an inspired signing for any NL (1 or 2) club - hard as nails. The footage of him sat on the sidelines sorting out his broken nose wasn't for the squeamish, thats for sure...

| Reilly is class, but Phil Joseph was the worst player on the park. The game changed once he replaced Sykes at dummy half, added a good second or two on to their play-the-ball.

| Greenwoods a Rolls Royce very fast and was defo on for 30 tries unfortunatley he fell out with us when TB allowed training to become a free for all and not taken seriously a pitty really as if he had stayed with us he would of been on 100+ tries by now.

| Had a great night despite Oldham losing. The only thing that marred our night out was the attempted segregation of the fans by the Stewards. Many fans like to change ends at Halftime and quite a few of us got up and walked down to the other side of the Stand, passing a load of Fev fans in the process of doing the same. On arriving in the seats we had chosen, we were informed by a few Stewards that we couldnt do this and we would have to go back to our original seats. When asked why, we were told "Dont argue, just do it or we will throw you out".
On hearing this, I produced my ticket and informed the Steward nearest to me that it said `UNRESERVED SEATING` which meant I could sit anywhere I wanted in the stand. They still insisted that we went back, stating that they were in their rights to do so. When asked why again, they said it was just in case we started to fight with the Fev fans. We had about 6 or 7 Fev fans stood near us and they couldnt believe what they were hearing. How long have these people worked there?. Are they mistaking us for Football hooligans?. Genuine Rugby League fans behave impeccably and every team has a group of Dipsticks who, unfortunately spoil it for the rest of us but the Majority of the fans are a credit to their Club. After we had convinced them that we was`nt going to start scrapping, they relented and left us alone.
I`ve heard one of your Coaches had a brick thrown through its window when you were at the CMS recently and your Stewards may have been asked to keep an eye on the visiting Fev fans but can someone have a word with them and ask them to ease back on the heavy handed security. Segregation doesnt work in Rugby League and if forced upon fans, can cause more aggravation than is warrented.
