Have you thought that it may have only occurred the once (albeit twice on the night) because this is first time we’ve sold bottles, needs addressing before it becomes a major problem, perhaps selling bottles does speed up sales but maybe you also give them a plastic glass and the stewards make sure you pour it into the glass before going on to the terracing, therefore no bottles, no missiles.

I seem to recall we sold bottles at thw Wigan game in the Challenge Cup a few years back at HP when we were narrowly beaten late on (Jules O'Neill was the difference).

Bottles were thrown at Wigan players that day as well so it's probably an area we don't want to get involved in to be honest. Stick with plastic pint glasses for me.

Anyone with enough money to buy ale at the match wants their head read anyway lol

I don't think it will be an issue for any game other than Wigan (they were sold against Halifax without a problem)

I stand corrected I wasn't at the Fax game, but I'm not to sure it wouldn't happen at another game they weren't thrown at anyone, in fact play was down the other end.

It's the same price as going to the pub near me so doesn't make any difference. The thing is myself and quite a few on here like a pint whilst watching a game always have done always will.

They were'nt thrown at players on Friday, they were thrown onto the pitch when play was about the half way line!.

correct reffy it certainly looks like it's not what you know but who you know, but being called a tool by someone who can't spell or has no grasp of English is the least of my worries.

It's a pity some can't express their views without personal insults, but the idea of having a message board is to allow debate/disagreements etc and therefore threads shouldn't be locked for it the offender should be warned or banned.

And the 'offender' has been suitably warned rather like people who breach the AUP rule 2.2 that YOU and everyone on here signed up to abide by.

Oh and peawap I have no idea who that person is, but I can't speak for the other moderators on here.
