Well with 40 million a season I would expect SL and Championship to get substantial increases per season from 2017.

I don't think it mentions how much SKY are paying in any reports I have read so where these figures come from is anyone's guess surely?

It's not the total amount invested by SKY that's important to us. It's how it's distributed that counts.

Agreed because 200 mill over 5 years shared by 2x 12 is 1.6 mill but thats wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy to simple , you can bet the small print is interesting

SL is what they pay for and it's right they get the majority, the challenge is for the next tier to up their game and create that pressure on the elite to remain elite

Not sure what I make of it, happy in some respects from our Point of view it's a bonus as we can plan fixtures for the full season now and also no silly midweek trips or games. From the Championship point of view less coverage but only for 12 months then back on Sky!!M

Slowcoach, there are plenty of sites on th'internet where you can watch SKY Sports for free. Much better to invest in an IMAC for better viewing quality than to pay subscription fees to SKY.

It just says in the press release that Sky will cover both leagues, playoffs and some challenge cup games on 2015. I didn't see anything about 2014.
