Don't know if He was to blame or not but when he came in halfway through our superleague campaign but we started to go down hill not long after then more or less a full squad was got rid off and replaced and that group of players were terrible until purtill took control and kept Cunningham at arms length,so u can understand why people blame him because before he came in.. under JUKSEY we played attacking rugby but suddenly juksey started to say we need to get in the arm wrestle and play 5 drives and a kick.It just seems all this started when Cunningham came in and look at the rugby saints played when he was in charge there

Gunners I know for a fact that he was in charge I’m not getting into a argument on here with some folk about it people can keep going with the blame jukes tinted glasses on but to be fair it was his fault for not standing up to KC and tell him to stay away from the team

That is a statement in quotation, when did Jukes speak these words & where is the proof, if there isn't any then it is slander !

My 2 pennies *whether you like them or not* .....

1. Jukes was not up to the task ( though I concede & thank him for the 2016 season )
2. Beaumonts brief/target/goals set to Jukes to win the MPG/Survive was & is a defeatist target & unacceptable, you set a target of top 8 & then & only then if you fail, your next target is 9th, that is the mindset of a winner !
3. KC was money wasted & did not work. Why not sack Jukes & go big, get the best Head Coach possible * HullKR/Sheens*, you then pay that Head Coach what you would have paid NJ + KC & more likely your Club is still in SL !
4. Lost Paterika Vai-Vai early & for full season, this is something that has happened to Leigh every season for the last 3 at least, McNally, Vai-Vai & James Clare !
5. John the Baptiste's wife claimed he had damaged his shoulder & would be out for months in a tweet, only to add to the same tweet a photo of him walking away from LSV carrying his kit bag on same shoulder *he didn't want to be a Leigh player, so be f in honest* !
6. DB should have fought to keep the contracts of Bryson Goodwin, Samisoni Langi & Josh Drinkwater *imagine how strong this team would have been with those 3 !
7. That season opening run.

These are for me all critical factors in the demise of Leigh.

To add, if I could I would remind DB that he is quoted as saying he would write off ALL debts to him from the Club as a gift, it is quoted because he said the words, now he appears to be changing tune to only if the right person take a over etc, he also said he would ensure the Club gets to end if season *I am sure he will* , but I ask this, why would he not pay players, LSV debts etc ? Is there something more to it ? Is his business in dire need ?

I don't dislike DB but with every passing week he weakens his own position with fans.

I never want to see a sole owner again but if it meant survival in the short term I would accept one with concerns.

They got a £500k parachute payment. Sod all investment required last season in SL Someone was calling his investment back,long before the current situation.
Why no response from the other share holders? Because they are puppets awaiting a pay out.

There was a leadership group set up during the first QTR of our SL year, it consisted of Hansen, Drinkwater, Higham & Stewart.

This was the point at which that statement was made and Jukes should have gone then.

In the end KC got sacked not long after we beat Saints and he ended up at Leigh with Derek Stating he needed someone to take his role as Director of Rugby over so he could focus more on his own business.

Well it wasn't learnt was it because at the beginning of the season we played attacking rugby and won games then kc came in and we didn't win many and got relegated,so it was someone's brainwave to get rid of that team and start a fresh and we all know how that's gone down don't we

Did we really play attacking rugby in those three wins early in the season? Think we got a decent number of tries from prop forwards, then when teams wised up to that we had nothing.

Is it just me , I don't care who was to blame , it's done , as fans , have any of us not had our monies worth in the last 4 years ?

Yes things are poop ATM , well that's just the way it is , people can pontificate till the cows come home trying to apportion blame to this or that person , it won't change a single thing , nor will it most likely stop it from happening again at some point

The other shareholders have no power. I assume Derek had total control. With regards to a pay out - who from? Their shares are worthless. No one will buy them. A new investor only need derek’s shares and will have total control. There’s no reason for them to issue a statement. What would they say? It wouldn’t matter what they said as it wouldn’t be important unless they were willing to take over which we can assume isn’t the case as it would have been announced by now.

is This the same cunningham that told micky higham that his son was better than him and he did not have a career left at leigh and his son and Baptiste was better than him but when purts took back control higham come out of retirement and been a good number 2 to hood where are Baptiste and young cunningham now
