Just feel its a problem that has only occured this once therefore not a majour issue, if it happens again then maybe make a thread about it and have a rant but to be honest its seems people are making a big deal over this issue which isnt really that much of a problem

as I was the poster who started this thread I assume that you are referring to me when you say "really is some shallow people who post on this forum" so I make two points to you
(1)-I think it is a major issue when spectators start throwing things on to the pitch,whether they are plastic bottles, Glass bottles or lumps of iron,it is inexcusable and should have been dealt with better than it was,
(2) you should have wrote "really are" and not "really is". but either way I think I was in the right and actually I am thinking of writing about this incident to the rugby League weekly.

I agree its a serious matter but I wouldn't want the club getting a big fine, what we can't afford to pay because you wrote and the RFL became aware of it.
Let the club deal with it.

peawapp - read through the thread. The club and the LSV are dealing with the matter. Writing to the trade press isn't going to do anyone any good, and even then what is there to gain that isn't already being done?

To be fair he did say "rugby league weekly" and not "rugby league express" - and we all know no one reads RL Weekly!!!!

I wouldn't dream of writing to the papers ,I have been watching Leigh since 1949 and I wouldn't do anything to hurt the Club that I love, it just makes me mad that people should take this incident so lightly ,if we dont get a grip that way leads to anarchy .

Completley unacceptable to throw bottles on the pitch however, one saving grace is that there were no players in that area at that time! it was just some idiot who I would imagine is not a regular attendee and had too much too drink!
