I would hate for us to run out of steam come the playoffs because we never rested our own players when we had the chance.

Hopkins played for the reserves today I would ezpect Nash to drop to the bench and Littler to return to the back row to open up a centre spot for Nanyn/Blythe/Evans.

Agree...... Higson IMO is the next big thing at Leigh - but needs to play regular 1st team rugby. We are blessed with the squad we have this season BUT a few players have only a couple of seasons left in them and if we are serious about applying for SL next time around we have to get these young lads playing regular so when/if we get into SL they are ready/top players at this level.

Adam is still a young man and will only get bigger and better. SL beckons for Adam and I hope it is with Leigh Centurions.

Well he probably would if we are talking about their current fitness levels. Mick Nanyn has come on leaps and bounds this year in terms of his defence and I was one of his knockers but IM knows when and how to use these lads so lets leave it upto him.

You are quite right Matt, but I have a strong feeling that whenever Nanyn is fit, except when he was perhaps rested against Hull Dockers, he is one of the first names down. As I said last week on here, Nanyn is okay, but he should NOT be an automatic choce at centre when there is so much competition. Of course we are leaving it to Millward. He is doing extremely well this season, but that does not stop us being able to discuss other options on a forum. Perhaps we could offer to swap Nanyn for Armstrong or Evans or perhaps Blythe. I am sure that he would get on at Wire and Saints. Still scratching my head if this is true.

Nothing to do with dislikes. Seems a nice bloke and is a good player. Just bemused as to why he seems first choice centre when so much competition. If he was absolutely out of this world and top class could perhaps understand it. Que sera sera. Will still be supporting ALL the players and Millward all the way as usual.

Oh I see. I bet every coach in SL feels the same when they lose to the French. If only we had had Nanyn on to turn the pressure into points. Perhaps TonySmith or Nathan Brown or one of the others will be coming in for him soon.

I never said that Higson deserves to be an automatic choice. Nobody does in my opinion.
