one name that has not been mentioned in the poor form of the Leigh team this season is Keiron Cunningham, he was roundly credited and took all the plaudits before the season commenced as the 'Director of Rugby' who identified, sourced and signed all the 19 new players the majority with either SL or NRL expierience and presumably also showing near the entire squad of 2017 the door.

Observation about KC, does he really know what he is doing, he was quite rightly given all the accolades as a player, but his contribution to the clubs he has served since hanging his boots up is somewhat to be desired, I don't think I would be wrong in saying it marks his CV as "not suitable

Actually, the players were incapable of implementing that part of the plan. We have often been unable to retain possession (completion rate of about 35% in the 2nd half yesterday) or create pressure through repeat sets. On the rare occasions we create a repeat set - often through a penalty - we frequently drop the ball, or chuck it forward, on the first tackle! I can't believe that's the coach's fault!

Let's face it, if we'd played Toulouse, or Fax, or Fev three times we'd probably have lost the third game against them too!

I believe if we can sell players, and receive decent transfer fees, we should do it now. (unless there's prize money of about £500k for winning the Championship Shield!

Well, many will be contracted for next season, so a fee might apply. Of course, we daren't let too many go, as we still have Shield fixtures to fulfil.

The biggest mistake (retaining Jukes for a season too long aside) was letting Ridyard and McNally leave. Beggers believe that two lads who loved this club, and could actually play rugby were binned off. Riddy especially - went unpaid for awhile in our darker days, rewarded with a cold shoulder and a p45.

True still can't get my head around the Riddy one ????

We don’t know what happened with Riddy. Remember the talk of him going to Wakey when he spat his dummy out. But remember the times of playing with broken ribs. Two sides to a story.
