Think Ellis has signed for Huddersfield for next 2 to 3 years

I think that might have been dependent on Luke Robinson joining Fev and we all know what happened there

Ive a feeling a class signing is close to being announced mmmmm

What we need is maybe 4 quality signings , easier said than done though , one name I can think of is Kevin Brown at Widnes , though I have every faith in PR and the BOM , they haven't let us down , and I know they are wise men and know whats needed .

Hope we dont go down the same route as 2005, would rather see the team we currently have giving it a go rather than overpaid hasbeens

With the number of the current squad already signed up, I think it's fair to say there will be a more than decent representation from the current side.

2005 was a terrible season for player recruitment Jasons Kent and Ferris , Steve McCurrie , Darren Fleary ,Dom Feaunati , and others ive forgotten , the Squad we have now are indeed a talented bunch but to compete and pass London and Bradford we need a touch of Quality , lets leave to Paul and the BOM .

We obviously need a quality half back. Its only area of team that the current occupants dont have any real pressure on them. Ridy/kes clearly fine players, but if injury strikes or forms dips, we need other options.

Different scenario to 2005. The reason the system from next season has been brought in is so clubs don't need to do that. We were in a no win situation back then. Now the pathway is much clearer and based on gradual improvement.

I personally think we are more than ok for half backs with Riddy and Kez, and then the cover listed by Fred. I think we need a strong prop to replace Hopkins (as he is not our player unfortunately). I was really hoping that Duffy would take the next step this season but he still has a way to go if he is to make a mark at a SL level.

Ryan Duffy is young for a prop and has played a few first team games this season and has never let us down.

Since we signed him his game has improved immeasurably and I think that progress will continue. Hope we keep him.
