As part of the RFL plans to expand the game, my vote goes for the comp to be played in Tenerefe in March.

You just said it. The LSV. Use the athletics pitch and maybe the 3G pitch. We have a hotel/hotels very close and a town centre full of pubs. A good idea to have just before the grand finals.

blackpool stanley is my amatuer club, and they only have ONE pitch

I hope that score line is not true - its only 9 mins per half! If they had been playing for the full 80 minutes we would have conceded over 200 points!

I know our defence is bad but...

It is not hard in 7/9's to run up scores like that once one team is chasing scores they tend to lose possesion very easily

Our defence against sheffield was shocking, think ridyard thought he was playing tick and pass. how a team can concede 50 points in 18 mins is unreal, was embarressing watchin, the highest score of tourny conceded by at least 18 points

The Leigh players and coaches seemed to enjoy it on Saturday night.

Apparently we were the last team back to the hotel on saturday , where according to our coach " It looked like the OK corrall " when they walked in

Needs a touch up on when its played (perhaps bring the Nines/NRC final forward to June).

Although the Fylde day went reasonably well it added hardly anyone to the stadium to watch the 9s finals due to logistics of geting from one venue to another. Both 9s finals were played in front of a couple of hundred fans at best wouldn`t surprise me if some 9s fans missed the finals as we left Fylde before the matches finished traveled quickly by car and only just got there before the 9s plate final started.
I think if they run this comp next year they need to learn a few lessons .Especially the takeing care that there are better facilities for the players and not bother trying to force people into a 2 day event.
I enjoyed the weekend as the weather was nice. I asked Nigel Woods "how come the 9s dinner due to be held Sat night was cancelled with 4 days notice" He replied he did not know it had been but would make enquiries.

I used to work there , I just dont like it , tacky , smelly , grubby place

DISCO Dave Armitstead ,turned up after the first match ,and was on the pitch for the next 2 ,i wont sya he played because ,he hasnt PLAYED for months now.,for me its TAXI FOR ARMISTEAD.

He only played the one game to be fair charlie.

He might have been sitting or standing on the side for the last one on saturday but he didnt enter the field of play for the York game, he was only involved for the Gateshead game.

In fairness, Leigh weren't the only team out on the lash on Saturday by all accounts.

We played in the last match on saturday and when they arrived at the Hotel it resembled the OK corral

To be fair as well Jenky - the Leigh lads and York team, were the last to play and when the final whistle went on Saturday the Woodlands was virtually deserted.

Surely you can't begrudge them a bit of time when some teams had finished a good 2 hours before.
