Quote: Fax4Life "Maybe but on that performance I doubt it, sorry.
Not saying we will, not a chnce.'"

My belief ain't off that performance Fev or Sheffield on form would of took their chances tonight with the amount of errors we made but you did naff all with the ball (you should of kept Black). We've got big game players out injured add them to the team come play offs & we'll be very hard to beat anyone wrighting us of more fool them.

I've never seen a team make so many errors in a game but still keep a good side to 1 try, fantastic effort by our lads. If we can get a couple of players back in time for the play offs we'll take some stopping. Onwards and upwards leythers!

One man who went under the radar again was beswick, how many times did he have to take the first drive in due to having no props.
Great effort again bob

Well as I have put on another thread I thought the defence was exceptional ! both teams defended well but Leigh that bit better . The way the lads are prepared to play for one another is second to none and after Mcnally scored you could see how much it meant to each and every one of them ,you would have thought they had won the final all over again !All the stay aways don't know what they are missing and more fool them .I only feel pride for this team of lads and to do what they did last night and then then still have to go to work is nothing short of amazing a014.gif

If Fax can get the go-forward we know we have, I am sure we will have a good shout again this year however Handforth is stealing a wage and Ashall, well, I am sure I could do a better job at 37 and having not played nearly 20 years - dreadful.

HOWEVER - our forwards are the best in this league I feel and we are SO close to being a top side.

Don't get carried away leathers, you weren't that good to be honest. We were shocking - BUT best wishes for the run in. Top fans!

Agreed - and also good to see young Briscoe back in the mix as well - another who just gets on with the job.

Thornley is a good solid utility player & the way he played at Hunslet IMO he would do a good job at centre if need be. He'll certainly be needed with Bates ban coming in & Parker's out for weeks supposedly too.

Don't think you can underestimate McNally's contribution either. He took a real battering with the kick returns but kept going all night, and did remarkably well to prevent a repeat set on a couple of occasions.

We should win, but not easily.
