I actually thought today was a really enjoyable game. Both sides gave it what for down the middle, there was a bit of biff and some quality tries scored. Even managed to hold my five year old's attention for quite long periods which is some going, believe me. Seen a LOT worse games over the years.

For mine, It is the worse, most dull Rugby League I have seen down at Leigh for decades on end.

Bit tricky playing an expansive game without regular half backs and missing two first choice pack members.

I thought we dropped too much ball and made too many wrong choices and gave away a few needless penalties.

Having said that Haven gave it their best shot but looked a bit off the pace in the second half. In the first they seemed to get every bounce of the ball and 50/50 decisions.

Our team does have potential however and I honestly think we will be hard to beat when at full strength.
