Fred its not a dig at you or anyone associated with CTV but it has cost money, money from sponsors/fans that could have gone elsewhere but more importantly they must have known the bomb was coming to the end of its fuse and all efforts should have been focussed there, did they tell you as you were putting money and effort into it what was about to happen?? Also I still have nightmares about somebody announcing something at a public forum that wasn't sealed indeed the interested party had not even visited the club and linking me with it, but that has become par for the course imo - say owt to appease policy

This is depressing, what happened to making the club self sufficient after Arthur stepped down?

I realise attendances are down on what was predicted but I think the predicted figures where badly thought out given the fact prices where going up and attendances had fallen away a little towards the end of last season. Anyone with an ounce of business sense knows that you leave yourself some leeway when budgeting but it seems at Leigh we just don't bother.

I couldn't make the Batley game today but I'll always support my club when and how I can that's a given. I wasn't in favour if the move from HP to begin with and as time goes on it looks like the loss of revenue streams we had there is beginning to cost us big time. HP could have been rennovated bit by bit with grants etc. It does make me wonder how much we're paying LSV to be their main tennant.

Someone also mentioned the money from the Wigan game. I reckon we should have got between £40-50k for that game if it was a 50-50 split so I can't understand why the players can't be paid. Come on Leigh sort it out ffs, we can't carry on like this.

When will the RFL realise that they're choking the life out of the game below SL as well with nothing to play for every season, thats one reason why they crowds are dwindling.

Once again, the club was given no option but to sign up to the LSV, the council threatened to place a safety certificate on HP for a capacity of 1,000

And the structure of the sport has been set for 5/6 years now, it should have no bearing on budgets set by clubs, we know what the situation is

It wasnt the actual lease, it was a ' Commitment to move ' , if it wasnt signed then the LSV site would have been developed without a stadium , but with more retail and community facilities and the actual ' footprint ' of Hilton Park, which is clearly marked out now with the fence separating the council owned former Leigh East site and the Grundy Hill site would have resulted in a 1,000 capacity stadium

Don't know what the timescale is for away clubs in RL 'shared gate' games, but my favourite Scottish footie team Hamilton Accies, only got paid last month for a cup tie that was played in October...albeit from Dunfermline who are now in administration.

The players havent been paid YET ,but Derek Beaumont told them all they would be ,and the club hasnt been paid any money from Wigan YET ,the post match Awards was very interesting ,Derek Beaumont spoke as a Leyther , and was very positive , im sure he will answer all his critics as well as he did the Heckler today , shut him up in seconds .

Have been told what it was although being told isn't always accurate. Well I thought about £21k but apparently a lot more than that.
