Some idle gossip on Sunday was that all new singings for next season have been given the option of getting out of their contracts. I have no idea how true it is but it would make sense as any new coach is going to want to bring their own players in rather than have a full pre season/season with someone elses signings.

The first time the I heard the rumour of players being given the option to look elsewhere to secure a safer deal was when the chance of us going bust hit the news so whether what you heard Sunday is connected with that and or Muzza coming in?

Should Finn go then any coach coming in now at this late stage will be stuck with a large part of the present squad and any signings already on the dotted line as most players will have been signed up to clubs months ago.

Trying to find available players of quality at this late stage will be nigh on impossible. There may be a few young SL players that are being offloaded free but any of those that have the ability to improve our squad will have gone.
