Everything was shut when Fax were on tour there last year. That's one of the (many) things that annoy me about foreign teams in our leagues, our fans contribute to the local economy (however slight it may be) but it's not reciprocated for towns like Leigh, Halifax or indeed anywhere else.

The only way to teach the powers that be a lesson is for nobody to go as a protest. This will deprive Toulouse of some 7000 euros which the RL will then have to find. Next year they might show common sense when arranging fixtures.
We could instead give £50 each to Leigh out of what we save on the understanding that its used to finance a late season signing or two and still be £400 in pocket - Leigh being £20000 in pocket based on 400 fans.

Isn't Toulouse a touristy place ? So will it be actually shutters down for there? Afterall there will be people working on the match day at the stadium surely for example.
Don't really have a problem with Good Friday myself - as W1ganner Matt's example prices show its not too bad. Depends who we play Monday I suppose for the good of the team. I am not a fan of playing 2 games within 3 days anyway - its too much to expect from the players when giving their all really, but I suppose its all about money.
