I do like Higson but seeing Wakefield on The Super League show they look to leave lots of gaps especially out wide so speed and agility could be the key which Pownall probably just has the edge on; equally why I'd have Reynolds on the bench, if we get infront & the game's going our way can bring him on, same as last week to use that; also works as cover for most of the backs. With how they've been playing they'll really fancy this game & will no doubt come out flying trying to make a mark early on, give them the power, strength & experience of Fui & the energy and CONTROLLED aggression of Acton to deal with from the off.

Not fully match fit after a hamstring injury

Says on twitter hock could be back in contention. I would not play him, we have better fitter options currently. Play him in reserves 4 a few games, gain that much needed match fitness.

This for me.
Think the discipline problems early doors will be all from Wakefield as they try to unsettle us in to getting sucked in.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought the reserves was used for our young players, and for players coming back from injury, like sarsfield/Spencer have done this season, apologies if I,'m wrong in that assumption.

Like giving Shakespeare a Jill n John book to write because he hasn't written for a few weeks. Sarsfield and Spencer are 10 years younger coming back from major surgery, flog him in training and when he's fit he will be devastating for us

I've never played the game, so u will have to excuse me. However I would of thought the only way to get match fit, would be to play in matches. Train as hard as much as u want, it's not the same as match conditions, hence why he looked so unfit in the 3 games he's played for us.

Reserves v a bunch of kids will not get him match fit imo, it may get some hero taking his head off mind you. Have heard today he has lost a lot of weight since we last saw him and is ready to go

I thought Hock was on the pop with that beer belly.

When Hock is fully fit he can be a class act.

I would play him against Wakefield as I would in the Blackpool bash.

The pathway back to the first team is via the reserves. You earn a first team shirt. You do not hand them out on a platter.

Not sure if Lynne will be playing with Collis back fit, also not sure if Owen will play with Tom Johnston keeping him out of the team the last few weeks.

Think we have a fair few players back for this game, almost a full squad I believe.

Aspinwall will not be available. He picked up an injury in the reserve game against Dewsbury and is out for up to 8 weeks.

Haha - good luck with that, the guy is a liability and very rarely gets through 80 mins without problems. He can be devastating on his day, but more often than not IMO he causes his own team as many problems as he causes the opposition.
