| There's still a lot to play for. We are only 2 points in front of you. This time next week we could both be on 2 points. Also Leigh's first 3 games are all against SL opposition.
It's not how you start and all that.

| I'm sure the Championship coaches will be hammering home the message regarding how the team react to a defeat. For Wakey it's how they react to a win. Somehow those seeds of doubt have to be rooted out.
Theres 5 matches left and all sorts of things can still happen.

| two points on this
one ,its a bit rich complaining about funding gap between you and SL bottom clubs, yet you were more than happy with the funding gaps between championship clubs.
Two, i can't understand why people didnt see this this coming, The RFL brought back P&R in name only. They still control how money is shared out to the clubs in SL and below so in effect still can control who can get it into SL.Everyone one was wetting their knockers when they announced P&R was back without looking at how it would work .

Correct although there'll be no easy ties, we have arguably the toughest start of all the teams, we are still in this competition, it is still in our control.

| You need to put things into perspective here, yesterday you played a very good Salford team that is spending just £300k short of the salary cap (it was the full amount until Gaz Hock and Kevin Locke left). Despite all the jokes and jibes that have been aimed in our direction, this is a Salford team that shouldn’t even be in the qualifiers and should be taking part in the 8’s right now. Prior to the injuries and suspensions we were flying and by the time we got the majority of bodies back it was all too little too late.
That performance from us yesterday would have been enough to beat more than 50% of Super League teams. You cant be disheartened from it and feel sorry for yourselves, dust yourself off and get ready for Wakefield at home – a more than realistic chance of victory. You’ll then proceed to beat the other Championship clubs and have a one-off game against probably Wakefield again to achieve Super League.
0 points from the first 2 games was always a very distinct possibility when the fixtures were released.
Great support too yesterday from the Leythers, best of luck.

| I expected to be P2 L2 before the 8's kicked off so from that point of view I am not surprised.
However, what I did not expect was to throw away an 18 point lead v HKR and to get a stuffing v Salford. It needs a big turnaround from here on in and IMO the Wakey game is a must win. Otherwise I reckon we can forget SL for another year, and what will happen next year is anybody's guess.

I'm quite happy that my own club earned the right to more funding, but the RFL didn't remove the SL financial cliff, they moved it a little.
It's progress that there are now more clubs getting decent payouts from TV money, but there still aren't nearly enough.

| I have not read all the comments, however you lost a home game you should have won. You lost away to a SL side who need to also win. Put the noose away. There is 5 games left, you have 3 at home. Win those, irrelevant who they are against and you'll be in the 4v5 game. Win 1 away game and you'll guarantee top 4.
Its far from over.

The table shows that one team was worse than Salford. Presumably other clubs suffered injuries and suspensions. To suggest that Salford should have finished higher is a bit like suggesting that Bulls should have finished top of the Championship had they avoided injuries to the key players.
All we can know is Salford are probably still better than Wakey but probably worse than the other SL clubs. True to form Salford scraped a win against Wakey.

| We still have a massive chance to go up. Top 3 has probably gone now but top 5 is still very much a possibility.

We could discuss it until we’re blue in the face, I am just giving you my opinion. Whilst I am sure other teams did have injuries and suspensions, I can be certain they weren’t quite as severe as ours and to key players. We played without both our first choice half backs for over 6 weeks, in which time we lost crucial games by small margins which had we won would have secured us a top 8 finish.
For me, Salford are the best team in the qualifiers. We have beaten Hull KR (with Albert Kelly) in recent weeks and hit the self-destruct button away at Widnes and ended up losing 21-20. As Bradford found out on Saturday, this Wakefield team is a much better one than the side which played the majority of the 23 rounds of Super League. They’re no mugs.

You're not in the same class as HKR or Widnes - give it a rest. You sraped a lucky win against us and you beat Leigh by a similar margin as we beat Bradford - you're deluded mate.
