I don't see a problem with it. Donlan and Bibey have played for Leigh before and went on to obviously better themselves, Bibey playing in two challenge cup finals and Donlan one. Both still have lots to offer to the club playing wise but also helping the progress of our younger players, I have no doubt Donlan will help Morty's game improve as the months go by.

Neither of those two are at the end of their careers I would say, or coming for the money.

Hartley, although never played for Leigh is still pretty young, burst onto the scene at Salford and things went abit stale for the lad he is trying to rebuild his career. He has moved to Leigh for next season and I feel his move is one of a genuine nature. He is coaching a junior side at Leigh Miners Rangers so no doubt this move will possibly enable him more time with those lads too, which surely can't be a bad thing.

If we ever signed Littler, I know that would get peoples backs up as he has ripped us apart for many years and he and us fans havn't had the best relationship, but the lad is a quaility player and would certainly be an asset to our side if we signed him within the next 2 years I reckon. To talk of stopping coming to Leigh games just because you don't agree with a signing is very sad.

As someone said, it shouldn't matter where they have been before, where they come from if they ever pull on a Leigh shirt we should be there to support them and hope they put 100% in for us and do a good job. Just look at Nanyn i'd never thought i'd enjoy seeing him in a Leigh shirt but whoever they are, weather they played for Wigan, Saints, Widnes in the past if they come to Leigh to play for our club I will support them and wish them well. If they are Leythers then it's even better, I would love to see nothing more than a team full of Leythers picking up honours.

Players, coaches and officials come and go the only people who dont lose their 'way' are the true fan.

No matter who pulls on the shirt they should be SUPPORTED thats what supporters do.

Well I don,t blame our local born players for the reason you stated in your first post.

Maybe it,s the folk who where born in Leigh but prefer watching better funded teams in RL,, or those who would rather spend their admission money on beer

,or those who used to go but don,t now cos no-one .from the club watched them when they were bad.Maybe it,s former fans who now prefer roller skating



John Woods stayed at Leigh for the best part of his career so did Micky Martyn and others. Course Sky wasn,t involved then.

Are we able to change it ? Well as fans we can go win or lose, we can buy season tickets we can buy lottery tickets and we can join LISA we can encourage folk to go we can enjoy ouselves at the match we can develop camerarderie amongst those who do go.

Easy isn,t it. Am I looking forward to Championship 1 what do you think ?Will I carry on supporting what do you think ? Let all exiles return home lol who cares if they get us out of Championship 1 I don,t give a toss.

I wasn't born in Leigh were I went to school the majority of kids supported Wig*n but our old chap first took me to kirkhall lane in 1949 when I was 6 and I've been going ever since as a kid I watched them win the lanc's cup versus Widnes and draw with barrow in the cup semi final then saw them lose the replay Iwas at Wembley in 71 and also at Whitehaven in 81 I with my Grandson watched all our n.r.c. arriva trains finals and all our grand finals and every match during our season in the sun in super league. when I say I've finished I of course dont mean a word of it cos I will of course be getting my season ticket next season and also collecting off my lifeline members as long as I am able. I like all of us am feeling let down and frustrated.

Leigh fans rip the p!ss out of Goofy constantly for 80 mins.

Goofy scores in the match (as he inevitably does against Leigh) and so he then give's a little back to the crowd.

'I don't like Goofy' the Leythers cry, 'He take's the p!ss out of us'

FWIW I've spoke to Stuart Littler on a couple of occasions and found him quite a nice bloke, but Starbug has obviously for whatever reasons the opposite view of him, why I don't know, I don't need to know, that's his view and he's just as entitled to it, as I am mine and you are yours.
