We knew we were underachieving last year, because we had the players but weren't putting in the performances. The fact that you're signing players like Sean Richardson to me says you haven't got the players. I'm not having a dig, I want to see Leigh competitive, but I've not seen anything this year to suggest you will be, and that includes when you beat us at Hilton Park.

Widnes aren't superb but at this stage of the season they are a much, much better team than us. I can see us improving when we get players back from injury/suspension but sadly not enough to get to the standerd of Widnes/Castleford.

A decent Widnes performance not a great one!! A terrible Leigh performance by a team robbed of several regulars just about sums it up. Remember last Good Friday?? Did we put 50 past Widnes last season? Did they sign a load of new players mid way through the season to changer their team? Did they get to the Grand Final? I wonder if we could do the same?? We could sign Grix back when he doesn't get paid next month!! Like Pat Cluskey said on GMR they will have to find wages from somewhere and looking at Widnes home fixtures they don't come every other week so money will be hard to come by!

widnes did as much as they had to,they didnt have to move out of first gear to beat a very poor leigh team.Widnes could step up a few more gears to play cas,leigh look like they are going in reverse and i would go as far as to say apart from 2 players the rest look like they could not be bothered no passion for the game of rugby

indeed, last season we stuffed Widnes quite a few times, including two 50+ scores, probably your turn this year. Infact yesterday will not be our heaviest defeat, that's for sure. We have lost too many good players, replaced them with mediocre ones, a 'coach' who's not qualified, and one who's inexperienced, survival is probably our target this season, whilst Widnes are aiming for the play-off final.

We had a tough game against Wigan and many dismissed us from the match because they thought the Wigan game would have taken it out of us, we got 46 points and starting to get careless and should have had more, we also play on Monday so i don't see that as bad at all, we werent amazing correct but we had 3 games in 8 days.

Having subsequently watched the game again, the only dodgy decision was sin-binning butterworth, by which point you were 40-0 down - you then went on to score 2 after that.

Your attitide to the rules was perfectly highlighted by Sean Richardson standing 5 yards away from a tap and then moaning when he was done for offside. Signing that oaf was a masterstroke.
