I suspect every championship team will be wanting to get one over on Widnes next season, they'll find it tough. Can't see them finishing that low tbh but the SL decision will have been made within the first 2/3 weeks of the season.
Yes it will be glorified friendlies but there are still boxes to tick for 2015, and we all start back at zero boxes ticked

| It does count otherwise you only have 2 years to tick boxes. Its a 3 year franchising process. 2008 when Salford and Celtic were promoted was the first year of qualifying for SL 2012 but as Salford and Celtic were the ones who got to the GF no one ticked that box. Decisions are made before the NRC final and GF therefore they don't count for 2012 but do for 2015. Is your head hurting yet  |

Derek, I don't think the RFL has said anything about a Championship team going up in 2015 yet, have they?

| Seems the plan doesn't it ? Not 2 mention a couple of Non Relegation league clubs.
These guys running the RFL makes you wonder if they are not all ex bankers or something connected to the Lawn Tennis Association or spend their evenings watching endless reruns of Sky at night  It will get worse when these know nothings embrace the idea of warp drive. |
