No point splashing out loads of cash when next season will be glorified friendlies. Wining something next year would be great but I don't think we'll go crazy & stretch our finances too much. All in moderation as we're staying put where we are in the championship/s the 2012 season is the time to splash the cash & attempted to get a SL application put forward through finals/silverware.

I suspect every championship team will be wanting to get one over on Widnes next season, they'll find it tough. Can't see them finishing that low tbh but the SL decision will have been made within the first 2/3 weeks of the season.

It does count otherwise you only have 2 years to tick boxes. Its a 3 year franchising process. 2008 when Salford and Celtic were promoted was the first year of qualifying for SL 2012 but as Salford and Celtic were the ones who got to the GF no one ticked that box. Decisions are made before the NRC final and GF therefore they don't count for 2012 but do for 2015. Is your head hurting yet

No and I doubt they will I think after this next year the only ones going up will be because someone has has gone "bank".

i think they will vote to expand the SL numbers by one, nobody losing a franchise in 2015.

I doubt that because they then look at losing about 7% of their Sky money. At least 3 Non Relegation clubs have mega debts and turkeys do not vote for christmas because they have more sense than the person currently chairman of the RFL. He still does not know the LSV has been built even though he has been there.
