He's no different than Timmy Street and numerous others we've had over the years... Give the lad a break.

I didn't go today but I've been to most other games and he's been one of our best players each time he's played. Hope he doesn't make it a regular thing getting sent off but as has been said previously Timmy Street is a legend at leigh so that says it all.

He and Acton are exactly what we have needed for a few seasons. No team in this division will try and bully us. Look what happend today, when we got on a roll Fax tried to bully us. We stood up to them and came back at them harder. They looked shell shocked at the end.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I love Sam Barlow and he would always have a place in my team regardless of (or because of) his behaviour.

Comparing Barlow to Tim Street is all well and good but Timmy was 10 times the player he had been when Millward told him he had no use for him if he was going to be sat in the stand every week.

He got rid of the posing hard man attitude from his game and that's when he achieved legend status.

Think Barlow needs to follow suit.

If he has the brains to match the brawn of course.
