I have to agree with Reffy. We are trying to promote a family club and aggressive behaviour between fans is not on I front of kids. Banter yes. Bullying foul mouth rubbish no.

Cant comment on the North Stand, but I'm with Charlie on this one - a couple of middle aged Keighley fans were asking for trouble with the Barlow goading. No idea what that was about, but very much doubt they would have said it to his face

Plenty of swearing from the polite fans in the West Stand too - every time Leigh dropped the ball. And that happened rather a lot!

They certainly did in what could otherwise of been a very flat atmosphere. All their fans appeared to enjoy themselves. My comment was very much tongue in cheek.

Charlie, if you want to see holier than thou attitudes then read back some of the regulars' comment after away matches.

Reffy , I realise all clubs has its share of folk that chant things that are not needed , ive been watching Leigh for many years now and it was the same in those early days stood on the Railway End .For me the 2 worst places for foul chants and intimidation are Haven and Fev ,last night was down to 4 Keighley fans in the West Stand , the Leigh fans involved were just telling them to turn it down a bit .

The very fact that some of your fans are (on this thread) supportive of an opposition fans views , and the fair number of Leigh fans apologizing to us for the behaviors of other fellow home fans after the game last night should tell you that there is a real issue here and that if away supporters are intimidated enough to make the the decision to stay away from the LSV that in turn will impact on your own club ...

And as for where we were stood , stood in similar places at Fev, Fax and all the other Championship grounds and endured nothing like I did yesterday

Sorry to hear you were subjected to abuse rach, unfortunatley we at Leigh like most clubs have a minority that push past the accepted levels of banter, I hope it wont put you off attending in the future
