| For me Tommy Gallagher is not a prop and is wasted if used as one. He's a number six in a chubby second row's body.
He gave one of the most astonishing performances I've ever seen when we had a half-back crisis and he started at stand off in 2010 against the then Champs' Barrow. He ran the entire game, scoring five tries in the process including an 80 yard interception up the Mount Pleseant slope.
Used correctly, he's devastating. Back rower to start or ideally, someone you throw on for 15 minutes a couple of times a game to shake things up.
Although you'll never get 25 games a season from him, someone, hopefully us, will end up with the most skilful forward in the Championship.

I was at that match. Leigh didn't play that day but I thought he was at 7.
Remember saying to my mate Wolrab only Batley would pick a prop at half back. Then this season Paul Rowley had Briscoe for us at scrum half.
It worked for both our teams. Ever since that match at Batley I have rated Tommy.

You need glasses mate if you think Ossie is smaller than tommy. Ostick is 6ft tall with lean muscle mass. Tommy is small and dumpy, due to his weeble features he can't do more than a 10-15 minute spell for us. We need props who are props not overweight half backs who get smashed by bigger men. Tommy has done an amazing job for us this season but is not what we need going forward.

43504.jpg Rugby League is folklore. What captures our imagination is not simply the winning or the losing, it's the stories. The stories of perseverance, of sheer will, of hard work, of heartbreak, of miracles, and of triumph and tragedy.:43504.jpg |

| Always changed the game when he came on, I enjoyed watching him for his 100% effort and skills. Really sad to see him go, thanks Tommy and good luck for the future.
