have you tried adding a named driver (someone older with afew years no claims) to your policy sounds daft but i know some people who have done this and their insurance went down alot.

My son is not quite 21, and was insured on a 2L Megane. He has had to get rid and just wanted a runaround till he was 21. They wouldn't insure him on a 1.4l Saxo but a bigger 2L Mondeo wasn't a problem???? They have you over a barrell and most ways people use to reduce premiums are slowly being disallowed or make miniscule difference anymore.

tried to insure my clio just too see the prices and they wanted a thousand pund more than what i pay now on most sites.

I've switched to Swiftcover this year after 5 years with Tesco. I'm saving about £120 over the course of the year and I'd struggled to get anyone as cheap as Tesco in previous years.
Swiftcover are part of the AXA group who are also cheap so give both of those a try. My mate has just switched to AXA and he's saving a packet.

| I'm with a company called footman James at the mo , seems quite a fair price but only got 2 years no claims because of how long I've had my own cover. Got them through go compare stevo , no harm in looking
Failing that u could always dress up like vic reeves in that bingo add and get a quote off sheilas wheels 
Hope u get a good deal from somewhere mate , keep looking  |
