Our starting 13 will look much the same, Widnes were not allowed to play and in the second half just like a number of your games this year you came out attacking strong, Thackery is a one trick pony and we stifled his inside balls, Webster is a poor imitation of his HKR days but then he has never played well against us.
Stop the ball going wide to your main threats and you stop Widnes, that was obviously worked on and worked on well, that plus we do not have a fixed game plan where as Cullen uses the same old same old on every occasion, he is too one dimensional in his coaching and it is starting to show in him not having the same talent he had in SL.
We are NOT a great attacking team but are good at what we do and do it (so far consistently) well, I have bemoaned the lack of completion rates in our previous two games this was tightened last night especially in the 1st half, but it was certainly not our best performance of the season that was at Halifax.
And before anyone asks yes I have seen a great number of Widnes DVds this and last year.

Your starting 13 will probably look differently thanks to injuries. Its the way the game is, atm you have been lucky with injuries and we have been unlucky. At the tail end of the season you may hit a bad patch with injuries and Widnes may get most of theirs back. Swings and roundabouts.

And you are being a tad harsh on thacks, for starters his main threat is when he attacks the line and he gave you problems with that last night. But i would agree that his inside balls are getting a little easy to read, i would also agree about webster but he is still a great distributor but Widnes seem to lack Runners in almost every single play. Watch Leigh attacking and there are multiple Runners, Watch Widnes and the man set to receive the ball is the only one moving.

I dont think Leigh have a better team than Widnes, But they are currently being coached better and playing far better as a unit. Maybe Widnes will improve here when we can get a settled 17.

Saying we played the 1st quarter of the saeason without our two front line props, one of whom is still out, our front line 6 has also been out for the last 4 or 5 games, and that for the previous four seasons we have had nothing but injuries forgive me for saying what you wrote is a complete load of rubbish, no one can complain more about injuties than us over the last 4 years yet no one gave us any sympathy.
Thackery may attack the line but then reverts to type with an inside ball, very easy player to read and negate, if he was as good as you make out he would be in SL.

Where did i say that Thackery was great and SL quality? I said you were harsh on him, considering he managed to cause your defense trouble last night he must be doing something right. And with your reasoning no player in Leigh's squad is good enough for SL, because if they were surely they would be there now.

I mean it wasnt all that long ago that Nanyn was a crap who bottled it in big games according to most on here. I take it he has been reborn since signing for Leigh? Nope that was the same Nanyn i watched playing for Widnes, Doing the same things in the same ways.

Every game we have won this season, the losing teams have had their worst game of the season according to their fans. Just like our worse game was against York, well actually other than Bradford that is the only one we have lost

It was not our worst game, It may have been our worst half but i still think our first 40 against Toulouse was worse.

In the second half we contained Leigh With relative ease and caused you problems. You are where you are on Merit as is every other club in the division. But this was not your best performance of the season, i would imagine its not even close.

Maybe it feels better because we are such a big club

but in the end looking at some of your results this does not compare.
