That wasn't the point I was making. We may have spent the same money as last year but it was clearly not enough - compared to Barrow for example and no doubt others. Then suddenly we have the money to sign a few decent players and a coach. I know we have the new consortium or whatever their name is that came midway through the season which has contributed to that.

No there wasn't much in it at all! But if you scored more points / conceded less you wouldn't of gone down is all! Maybe few more BP's etc!

Gateshead can do one for me but Batley is a different story ,dont mind them one bit so Shutterbug you can do one too

Couldn't care less about Gateshead - see no reason why they should get favourable treatment in the rules.

Would have had some sympathy with Batley - although, no disrespect to them, they are a mid-table Championship side at best with limited potential for fanbase - it would not be as devastating for them as it is for us. We should be a top 3 Championship side pushing for a Super League place (although not quite getting there!)

not only Batley but most of the clubs in the championship couldn't get a SL liciense on the grounds of there stadiums are rubbish & worthy of the SL at least Leigh would have had the foundation for that one! you only really have us, widnes, sheffield who have adequate grounds!

And Doncaster and soon Halifax
