| Quote WHERESYERBALL="WHERESYERBALL"We were the leigh Bears that season, we lost the halifax at Home game Big Brendan Hill scored a couple that day, we also played huddersfield away and Rochdale away midweek that season on TV for those who can remember it was another season that the booty fell out of the club and we played with 7 recognised scrum halves in the team for a few games ha'"
I remember that Fax game well , Woody scored a try , the ref brought him back and gave Leigh aPenalty for Fax obstruction , Woody went on in that game to break Jimmy Ledgards club record , and Tony Iro made his Leigh debut in the game , it was the last time Frank B bought a round in also .

| I know its OT for this thread but the original one got locked.
With people talking about matches clashing I'd still go with our kick offs unless its a England football international but with games clashing v football is there no way the matches can be shown on the screens/bars at the LSV ?
Might not matter too much on sunday but March 08th v Batley could see a significant drop with Utd and City both on TV in Euro games.

| Iv'e only been suggesting we should have at least thought about bringing this game forward a couple of hours because the football game is a cup final, other than that i don't think i would change kickoff time

| I doubt the dolly track was an ITV device, it's been used to track shots in Hollywood since the 1950s (if not earlier), and for UK transmission TV since the 60s (I believe they were used in early Dr Who shows which were transmitted live)

| Tracking shots have been done since cinematography started to become public viewing. The Dolly that we use today was developed from the bomb loading tools that were used towards the end of the second world war and have been developed from that. Champman who made the first hydrolic dolly held and guarded the design patent for decades before a couple of other companies managed to design one that was completely different to the Chapman dollies.

Wasn't this in the 1st tackle of the game and was it also the same game David Stephenson made his debut?
