Then we rebuild from a better position. If we are in a position where we can get some of these bigger contracts for next year off our bill, then it would be irresponsible to refuse, because London might lose to Barrow.

I suspect the post from PK was hoping to stir a negative response, however I'd be quite relieved to see some big earners go this season. We have to handle this better than Bradford did (who announced the likes of Lachlan Burr before going into administration), and prepare for next year as best we can.

Still don't think Reynolds is SL quality, if Warrington sign him, I'd be very surprised.

Wish we'd have kept Lachlan , always did well for us IMO , moreso when we had Gregg backing him up through the middle , something we havent seen virtually all season

Yes, he got better as the season went on, doing big minutes towards the end of the season. Not sure what his circumstances were, whether he wanted to stay. Gregg was the big one that we missed. We don't actually have a full back in the squad, Matautia being the best at full back out of the backs we have. Still think he's better at centre though.

Will their contracts be honoured if they are on two year terms, correction I will rephrase that, will some of those on two year contracts be hardfaced enough to demand a second years salery after pinching one this year!

Maybe if we did not have to play Toronto 3 times this season we would not have to sell anybody and be in the top 4 I know we can’t blame this on us not making it but it would not of helped the other teams in Top 6 only at to play them twice

Reynolds is not Warrington standard, however it is difficult to be over critical of Ben. He is on a mere fraction of the £100K+ Hutchison is alleged to be being paid.

First one to leave SHOULD be Cunningham. If I was Director of Rugby, with Leigh sitting 6th, I would have resigned long ago. I really would.

Bradford had to play us 3 times in 2016, Featherstone Rovers in 2015.

Lot of 'ifs', 'buts' and 'maybes' - Leigh losing to Barrow by 4 points, giving away late leading positions to Toulouse, Featherstone and Toronto (Blackpool), not having a decent coach for the first 6 games, etc, etc. But the fact is, all of those things did happen and we should never have been relying on other results to go our way to scrape into the middle 8s.
