Dont forget the wheeels fell off when Paul felt he needed to retire as a player, he was player/asst coach, he should have left then as we needed quality to replace him and we never have.
He should have been told go get a job and learn your trade in the academy or amateur ranks. |

There has been many contributing factors in this.
When will we ever learn and stop keep getting rid of coaches half way through their contracts, all in recent years have been a disaster. Chopping and changing all the time doesnt help matters.
However us fans are a contributing factor here, as when things arent going right, we whinge moan and spit the dummy out, therefore the club feel they have to do something about it.
IF we can see this season out, stay up and have a real good go at it next year with a great team on the park, bring our great set of youngsters through, then the future looks rosy.
Patience is a virture.
Then in a few years, Paul will have learned loads from Millward and we ll be playing in SL with coach from Leigh and bags of players from the area to and actually competing. |
