More people are allowed in to the stadium if it's reserved seating, so quite possibly.

Why should it be reserved seating? I dont think any of them will bring along 10K so why should there be reserved seating.
Get there early enough and you can have any seat in the 'house'.

Having been and purchased a ticket for all 3 games I can confirm there is no reserved seating. Andy kindly informed me I was the first purchaser of a Warrington ticket!!

Three cracking fixtures that should get us all down to the LSV and some much needed funds to purchase the final players we need!!

I realise they're friendlies but if we could turn over or at least run close Warrington and Wigan within a week of each other I'm sure it would raise a lot of eyebrows around the game.

Next time I visit the Capital of Lancashire I will buy my season ticket and tickets for the 3 friendlies as an early Christmas present.

I do hope one of my kids read this and then discusses it with the other two so I might be able to buy a couple of pints to see in the New Year.

Quite a bold statement this by the club.
Three tough SL Home games to really put the lads through their paces, the negative is we could get heavily walloped in all 3, the positive is 3 decent paydays and the chance to win some games and go into the season on a high

Only thing worrying me is if we end up starting the season with injuries due to having such a difficult pre season.

I expect a close game with Salford and anything against the pies and Wolves is a bonus. A minimum of 10K fans watching this should clinch us the final piece of the 2010 jigsaw

Are you seriously expecting a 10k+ crowd for either of those friendlies or an accumulative attendance over 10k....

No over the three BS and to be honest I think I have underestimated. I wil have another go :-

2500 Leythers turned out in force on the last game of the season all to return

+ an addtional 500 Leythers

+ 500 Salford

+ 2500 Wolves

+3000 Pies


Total attendance 15000 over the 3 games

Don`t think you`ll be too far off with those figures..........Im taking a couple of pies from work ( human variety ) and no doubt the SL top dogs Wire will be out in force........... Just hope they leave the town centre in one piece.

Think you're being a little overambitious with those figures, to be honest.

Pretty sure the crowds for the SCR and the Pies game were nt too bad and accumulatively not too far off the 10k mark.

Let's not forget the Salford game was bumped up because of it being the opening game etc (4,800 IIRC - would do well to get over 3,000 this time) and I'd be surprised if Wigan bring anything over 2,000, so maybe 5,000 or so for that one.

Maybe a fund raiser for LISA DJ? Guess the cumulative friendly crowds winner gets half the takings, £1 a guess. £300 to be raised at next weeks Basil function and in and around the pubs over Xmas???

Don't think the attendances for friendlies mean a lot (other than financially). The fact that we can get three home game friendlies against SL opposition means that we are attractive as a club to market the LSV facilities and ourselves is a great plus! Until the recent cancellation of the game against Fev I thought that we may be taking on a bit too much. The last thing we want to do is start off the season with an injury crisis as has been evident in the past! The cancellation of the away game at Fev is common sense, IMO!

Plus it negates the possibility of getting muppet/swine flu etc.........

There was about 7 thousand on last season for the goons game wasnt there Matt on a bitter cold day, if the weather is better do you not think there will be about the same matey, i do.

I think there will be 6-7k again for the Wigan game.

Wire will brink 2k + and salford around 1k.

Thats 10k of away fans, and lets be honest, the more we can 'big up' LSV and our little Town team the better.

The Wire fans will love the stadium, thats for sure!!

I'd love it if there were, but I can't see it now that the 'first game' novelty is out of the way.
