well this has been debated before about people not putting their real names, and not having the guts to say to either players, directors or coaches what they think, as fred knows i have no such problem, if i felt strongly enough, and i do when MY club is under performing i will tell people what i think, hopfully in a constructive manner, i have no problems when i see nk or pr our pack aint big enough, our backs are too slow and we lack creativity from half back, how we fix that is the big question, one i am sure nk is pondering all the time, i know these comments were not aimed at me, but felt i had to reply none the less. stephen barlow, life long fan and dedicated supporter of MY TEAM

I have never been a fan of Ian Watson but i must say this season so far
he had stood out and second half sunday he was outstanding in a very poor team performance, some of the blame for sun is firmly at the feet of the coachin team in not subin certain players when it was obvious to all things needed changin quickly and to be honest what the hell is Durbin doing on the bench when every Leigh Supporter knows he makes the team play better with his quick plays and pace very good rugby brain as well he should be on from the start its not rocket science Mr Kelly

Shock horror fans moaning about their team, whatever next?

It's always happened always will, just nowadays we have the internet to do it on. I would have thought any player reading this forum would have the modicum of intelligence to suss out what fans are commenting on with some semblence of knowledge and those who spout pure drivel. I bet most players read it for comedic reasons.

I’d be amazed if they didn’t read it and as Popman says in the main have a laugh about it, I know they’re a relatively young side but they aren’t under 7’s, do you think they’ll sit there in the corner of the dressing room sulking, because glow said “Leigh East Girl’s tackled better than they did last week end?”

Anyone who doesn’t already know me and wants to know who I am, I’ll be in East tonight, sat with the Girls section. Just ask which one of you plonkers is glow.

I think its the way they are being told to play so there.

Fred thats a great idea, and could raise money for the club.

Every Sunday night ask the players/coaches to attend a function at which fans can call them or praise them personally. Open forum, anything goes, let debate get heated and a good ruck every now and again to keep things spicey.

You should apply for the high paid marketing job the RFL will pay for.

Maybe so, but I doubt NK says "go out there and miss a few tackles boys"

And the people who moan the most can be used as a tackle bag by the players so:

1. The person/persons are happy coz they are moaning

2. More practise for the players in the tackling dept

I meant the up the middle type rugby we are playing atm.
Not pretty, as I said I dont care if we lose a few close games if we can entertain.
I also think the fans will come if we play well and lose to a last minute drop goal etc, if they feel they ve been entertained and its there to see the effort put in.

Both praise and criticism are duly earned, if you can't accept both or crave one more so than the other the answer is simple, improve your performance.

the important point is not to make it personal.

i support these athletes because of their toughness it should not be a barrier to me having my say

Yeah I had a right go about Paul Anderson once on a coach and his mum was sat a few seats away from me



He had been awful at the time though but we were playing Widnes away that day and I think he scored 2 or 3 tries and we won so that shut me up lol

Met Lee Marsh today, told him how crap we were on sunday and that at least Dick Turpin wore a mask.
He asked if I was off to Donny, I told him no, he then told me I wasnt a true fan
